A story teller from Museum of London Docklands came in to tell us stories and sing songs all about celebrating the many languages of London. There is a Languages of London Festival there on the 3rd and 4th November if you want to find out more.

There have been lots of end of term celebrations in classes throughout the school. Year 4 enjoyed dressing up in togas and making authentic Greek salad to celebrate their Ancient Greece topic.

Julia and her Year 6s have done it again: another brilliant event! Staff, pupils and parents and carers all had a great time playing all the different games: throwing sponges at staff and Y6s; guessing the sweets in the jar; guessing the weight of the cake; to name but a few.

Four Year 5 girls were invited to compete and collaborate in a Maths Olympiad for KS2 girls last week. The girls had a great time and did Albion proud. Well done!

On Friday 29th June the Albion Primary football team entered a competition involving 18 other teams across the borough. All the Albion players showed fantastic sportsmanship, effort and skill and wore the Albion badge with pride. We were unlucky not to qualify after some impressive performances including beating the eventual finalist 2-0. The team look forward to their next challenge and should be proud of their display on Friday.
