Higher Level Teaching
Assistant (HLTA)

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate EYFS practitioner (Higher Learning Teaching Assistant) to join our fantastic team at Albion Primary School,
London. The successful candidate will deliver a programme of literacy intervention
and will also receive training through the Read Write Inc (RWI) programme. Good
knowledge of phonics is essential and experience of RWI is desirable. The successful candidate will support our teachers in taking a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, maximising their achievement and ability to succeed.

  • Salary: SCALE 5 POINT 6 – 13 (£28,977 – £32,205 FTE)
  • Role: 35.75 HOURS PER WEEK, TERM TIME ONLY (39 WEEKS)

The successful candidates will have the passion and experience of working within children in Early Years and in KS1/KS2. They will be confident in their ability to support and inspire children and foster their enthusiasm for learning.

  • Salary: SCALE 4 POINT 4 – 9 (£28,128 – £30,309 FTE)
  • Role: 32.5 HOURS PER WEEK, TERM TIME ONLY (39 WEEKS)
