Day Two: Full of Spring Fun!

The second day of the Easter Holiday Scheme was a resounding success as children enjoyed a variety of engaging spring and Easter-themed activities.
The day began with arts and crafts centered around Spring and Easter themes, allowing children to express their creativity while celebrating the season. Throughout the day, sports and group games provided the perfect opportunity for children to get active and make new friends in a fun, supportive environment.
A highlight of the afternoon was the baking session where children made delicious Easter nest. These tasty treats were created using melted chocolate and gluten-free cornflakes, topped with chocolate mini eggs. The children took great pride in their culinary creations!
The day was further enriched with sensory play experiences and outdoor ice excavation activities, giving children the chance to explore different textures and scientific concepts through play. Creative expression continued with painting and drawing sessions, while plenty of singing and dancing kept energy levels high.
The Easter Holiday Scheme continues to provide a well-rounded programme that combines fun, creativity, physical activity, and social development for all participating children.
