Day Three: Sparks Creativity and Joy!

The third day of the Easter Holiday Scheme offered children another wonderful array of seasonal activities that combined mindfulness, creativity, and plenty of fun.

The morning began with a calming exercise routine featuring yoga and a meditative wind down session in the school hall, helping children center themselves for the day ahead. Energy levels quickly picked up with an exciting game of musical statues that had everyone laughing and dancing.

Creative activities dominated the day as children decorated eggs using pasta and paint, creating unique Easter masterpieces. The artistic exploration continued with the making of Easter character stick and finger puppets, which inspired the children to develop their own imaginative stories and performances.

Another popular craft activity involved creating Easter bunny, chick, and lamb paper chain characters. Children enjoyed using these festive creations individually or combining them to make charming hanging mobiles.

The afternoon brought even more excitement with a "garden boogie" dance session in the sunshine, taking full advantage of the beautiful spring weather. The children also participated in baking Easter cookies, carefully decorating them with colorful icing and sprinkles. The day concluded with a fun pebble painting arts and crafts activity, where children transformed ordinary stones into Easter-themed decorations.

Throughout the day, the Holiday Scheme provided the perfect balance of active play, mindfulness, creative expression, and social interaction, ensuring every child had a memorable and enjoyable experience at Albion Primary School.
