The first day of our Easter Holiday Scheme was filled with smiles, laughter, and creativity as pupils jumped into a day packed with festive activities.
The morning began with children channeling their artistic talents to create colourful Easter posters. Armed with markers, glitter, and construction paper, they designed vibrant displays featuring bunnies, eggs, and spring flowers that brightened up our activity room.
I loved making our posters because I could use all the nice colours,
said one enthusiastic pupil.
The energy levels soared during the popular bunny throw game, where children tested their aim by throwing balls into Easter Bunnies. Cheers erupted with each successful throw as pupils encouraged each other.
Teamwork was the focus of the afternoon when children gathered in small groups to make "Magic Potions." Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble. This science-meets-imagination activity had teams collaborating to mix colourful liquids and safe ingredients, resulting in bubbling, colour-changing concoctions that delighted everyone.
Watching the children work together and have so much fun on the first day has been wonderful. We can't wait to see what the rest of the Easter Holiday Scheme brings!

To end the perfect day, each child received a special "Take and Make" food box, thoughtfully prepared by the Albion staff. These boxes contained ingredients and simple recipes for families to enjoy making together at home.
