PGL Residential 2023
At the beginning of November, a group of our Year 5 & 6 pupils thoroughly enjoyed a week residential visit to the PGL centre in Surrey, where they took part in a wide variety of exciting activities such as abseiling, archery, rock climbing and survival skills, along with many more.
Throughout the week, the children demonstrated our Albion Values and made our staff proud of what excellent representatives of Albion they were: showing respect, resilience and kindness whilst away from home.

This is what some of our PGL pupils said about their visit:
Our teamwork really improved over the week! We all worked as a team to help each other through the activities, such as belaying each other in the Trapeze and Jacob’s Ladder. I felt really safe with the instructors and wish I could go again!
One of my favourite things about PGL was zip lining because the instructor really helped talk us through what we needed to do so we felt really comfortable, even if some of us were nervous before. I really felt like our listening skills improved and we were able to demonstrate our respect Albion value! If I were to go again, I know I would have an amazing time!
