The fun just keeps growing

Shining the spotlight on Wednesday's jam-packed lineup, and honestly, it might be one of our most magical days yet. From fluttering craft creations to high-speed races,
every single activity has been chosen with a purpose: to keep our members active, curious, and beaming from ear to ear.

Here's what our Summer Clubbers got up to:

Summery Butterfly Bracelet Craft

Little fingers got busy threading, sequencing, and designing their own wearable works of art. Beyond the fun of "look what I made!", this activity builds fine motor skills, colour recognition, and pattern-making; all essential building blocks for early literacy and numeracy.

Water Play & Ice Excavation

Nothing beats a splash on a warm day, but this wasn't just cooling off! Digging frozen treasures out of blocks of ice introduces children to basic scientific concepts like melting, temperature, and states of matter, all while sneaking in some sensory play and problem-solving.

Paper Caterpillar Arts & Crafts

A perfect creative-and-calm counterbalance to the excitement of water play. This activity nurtures imagination, concentration, and hand-eye coordination, while giving our budding artists a chance to talk us through the story behind their creations.

Sports Games in the MUGA

Out on our multi-use games area, the energy was electric! Team sports build gross motor skills, coordination, and just as importantly, teamwork, communication, and good sportsmanship.

Bubbles

Simple, timeless, and pure joy. Chasing and popping bubbles supports visual tracking and hand-eye coordination in our younger members, and honestly, it's near-impossible not to smile while doing it.

Gymnastics

Rolls, balances, and stretches helped our members build strength, flexibility, body awareness, and confidence; all in a safe, supported environment.

Racing

A brilliant way to end the day! Friendly races encourage speed, agility, and healthy competition, while teaching children how to win graciously and lose with a smile.

Every activity on our Summer Club calendar is designed with intention, because we believe play and learning go hand in hand.

Wednesday proved once again that a day full of laughter can also be a day full of growth.

Stay tuned for the next post.
