Year 4 Gamelan Project

In essence the Gamelan project involved learning about Indonesian culture through show & tell, art, puppetry, storytelling and music. The pupils made their own shadow puppets, narrated a story and played traditional Gamelan instruments. On the final day of the project the pupils gave a magical shadow puppet performance, demonstrating some of the skills they had learnt. Well done Turquoise & Sapphire class.



Supporting curriculum:  music, art, drama, geography, DT (puppet making), science (light and shadow).
