Day 1: Woodland Adventures
Year 4 arrived safely at Sayers Croft, diving into exciting activities:
- Woods Compass: Pupils navigated woodland trails using compass skills.
- Woodland Crafting: Creating unique frames from fallen leaves and hazel branches, pupils got wonderfully sticky while crafting.
- Night Walk: Brave explorers followed a reflector trail through the forest, illuminating their path with torches.
Day 2: Challenges and Exploration
The day was filled with diverse and engaging activities:
- Shelter Building: Pupils constructed bear and rain-proof shelters, testing their problem-solving skills.
- Pond Dipping: Exploring aquatic life in the rain, they identified stickleback fish, whirling beetles, and caddis larvae.
- Blindfold Trail: Demonstrating ambition and resilience.
- Map Maze: Navigational challenges.
- Caving: Exploring routes while practicing kindness.
Day 3: Team Challenges and Values
The final day focused on:
- Orienteering: Showcasing ambition and resilience.
- Team Challenges: Engaging all school values - Ambition, Creativity, Kindness, Resilience, Respect, and Responsibility.
